Building a stable domestic supply of critical isotopes
Domestic production of high-value materials is essential for cancer therapies, advanced manufacturing, scientific research, and national security applications. Oklo is developing isotopes using three approaches: recovering isotopes from existing materials, producing isotopes with purpose-built reactors, and extracting high-value isotopes during advanced fuel recycling.
By sourcing material from both U.S. and international partnerships, Oklo creates a system that can receive used nuclear fuel, process it, deliver urgently needed isotopes, and reduce dependence on fragile international supply chains.
